সহজ ভাষায় Active to Passive Voice পরিবর্তনের নিয়মাবলী

Active Voice: যে sentence-এ subject নিজে সক্রিয়ভাবে বা active ভাবে কাজটি করে, সেই sentence-এ verb-এর Active Voice হয়।

Passive Voice: যে sentence-এ subject নিজে সক্রিয়ভাবে কাজটি করে না, বরং object-এর কাজটি তার দ্বারা সম্পন্ন হয়, সেই sentence-এ verb-এর Passive Voice হয়।

Voice Change Rules in Bangla

১. সাধারণ বাক্য গঠন (Basic Structure)

Active: Subject + Verb + Object
Passive: Object-এর Subject + Auxiliary Verb + V3 + by + Subject-এর Object

নোট: এখানে Subject এবং Tense অনুযায়ী Auxiliary Verb ব্যবহার করতে হবে।

Example:
• Active: He plays football.
➔ Passive: Football is played by him.

• Active: She is eating rice.
➔ Passive: Rice is being eaten by her.

• Active: They have played football.
➔ Passive: Football has been played by them.
বিশেষ নিয়ম: Subject-এর পর যদি Let থাকে, তাহলে Passive করার সময় তার পরিবর্তে allowed to বসাতে হবে।
• Active: She let him copy the paper.
➔ Passive: He was allowed to copy the paper by her.

২. Modal Auxiliaries যুক্ত বাক্য

শুধু Tense দিয়ে মনের ভাব সম্পূর্ণরূপে প্রকাশ করা যায় না। ক্ষমতা (can), সম্ভাবনা (may), বাধ্যবাধকতা (must), অনুমতি (may/can) বা পরামর্শ (should) প্রকাশ করতে Modal ব্যবহার করা হয়। মূল Modal গুলি হলো: can, could, may, might, must, shall, should, will, would, ought to, dare, need ইত্যাদি।

Active: Modal + V0
Passive: Modal + be + V3
Example:
• Active: He will buy a car.
➔ Passive: A car will be bought by him.

৩. Infinitive (to + V0) যুক্ত বাক্য

Active: to + V0
Passive: to + be + V3
Example:
• Active: He is going to start a new business.
➔ Passive: A new business is going to be started by him.

• Active: He is going to open a shop.
➔ Passive: A shop is going to be opened by him.

৪. Preposition-এর ব্যতিক্রমী ব্যবহার (By-এর পরিবর্তে অন্য Preposition)

সাধারণত Passive Voice-এ by বসে, কিন্তু নির্দিষ্ট কিছু Verb-এর পর to, with, at, in, about ইত্যাদি Preposition বসে।

  • to: receive, give, show, tell, send, offer, promise, lend, award, allow, pay, teach, know ইত্যাদি।
  • with / at / in / about: pleased with, satisfied with, worry about, embody in, laugh at, shock at, mock at, surprised at, marvelled at ইত্যাদি।
Example:
• Active: He knew me.
➔ Passive: I was known to him.

• Active: His behavior surprised me.
➔ Passive: I was surprised at his behavior.

৫. Interrogative Sentence (প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য)

Active: Auxiliary + Subject + Main Verb + Object + ?
Passive: Auxiliary + Object-এর Subject + V3 + by + Subject-এর Object + ?
Example:
• Active: Does he play football?
➔ Passive: Is football played by him?

• Active: Did he know me?
➔ Passive: Was I known to him?
WH Question Rule: Who থাকলে By whom বসে এবং By whom / Whom থাকলে Who বসে। এছাড়া অন্যান্য WH Word অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে।
• Active: Who is calling me?
➔ Passive: By whom am I being called?

৬. Imperative Sentence (আদেশ/উপদেশ/অনুরোধমূলক বাক্য)

Active: Main Verb + Object
Passive: Let + Object + be + V3
Example:
• Active: Open the door.
➔ Passive: Let the door be opened.

Negative হলে: Sentence-টি Negative থাকলে Let not দিয়ে শুরু করতে হবে।

Example:
• Active: Do not tell a lie.
➔ Passive: Let not a lie be told.

Let যুক্ত বাক্য হলে:

Passive: Let + Object + be + V3 + by (agent)
Example:
• Active: Let me do it.
➔ Passive: Let it be done by me.

৭. Reflexive & Reciprocal Object যুক্ত বাক্য

A. Reflexive Object (myself, himself, etc.):

Passive: Subject (অপরিবর্তিত) + Auxiliary Verb + V3 + by + Reflexive Object
Example:
• Active: He killed himself.
➔ Passive: He was killed by himself.

B. Reciprocal Object (each other, one another):

Passive: Subject (অপরিবর্তিত) + Auxiliary Verb + V3 + by + Reciprocal Object
Example:
• Active: They loved each other.
➔ Passive: They were loved by each other.
