Narration (āύ্āϝাāϰেāĻļāύ) āĻšāϞো āĻংāϰেāĻি āĻŦ্āϝাāĻāϰāĻŖে āĻāĻŽāύ āĻāĻāĻি āύিā§āĻŽ, āϝাāϰ āĻŽাāϧ্āϝāĻŽে āĻাāϰো āĻŦāϞা āĻāĻĨা āĻ āύ্āϝ āĻāĻāĻāύ āĻŦ্āϝāĻ্āϤি āĻšুāĻŦāĻšু (Direct Speech) āĻ āĻĨāĻŦা āĻĒāϰোāĻ্āώāĻাāĻŦে (Indirect Speech) āĻāĻĒāϏ্āĻĨাāĻĒāύ āĻāϰে। Narration āĻংāϰেāĻি āĻ্āϰাāĻŽাāϰেāϰ āĻুāϰুāϤ্āĻŦāĻĒূāϰ্āĻŖ āĻ ংāĻļ, āϝা āϏāϰাāϏāϰি āĻ āĻĒāϰোāĻ্āώāĻাāĻŦে āĻŦāĻ্āϤāĻŦ্āϝ āĻĒ্āϰāĻাāĻļ āĻāϰে। āĻĒāϰীāĻ্āώাā§ āύিā§āĻŽিāϤ āĻĒ্āϰāĻļ্āύ āĻāϏে। āύিāĻে āϧাāĻĒে āϧাāĻĒে āĻŦ্āϝাāĻ্āϝা āĻāϰা āĻšāϞো:
đˇ Step 1: Narration āĻী?
Narration āĻšāϞ āĻ āύ্āϝ āĻāĻāĻāύেāϰ āĻāĻĨা āĻĒুāύāϰাā§ āĻāĻĒāϏ্āĻĨাāĻĒāύ āĻāϰাāϰ āĻĒāĻĻ্āϧāϤি। āĻāĻি āĻĻুāĻāĻাāĻŦে āĻšā§:
- Direct Speech: āĻāĻĨাāĻি āĻšুāĻŦāĻšু āĻŦāϞাāϰ āϏāĻŽā§ āĻŦ্āϝāĻŦāĻšৃāϤ āĻšā§। ("") āĻāϰ āĻŽāϧ্āϝে āĻĨাāĻে।
- Indirect Speech: āĻāĻĨাāĻি āύিāĻেāϰ āĻাāώাā§, āĻŦ্āϝাāĻāϰāĻŖāĻāϤ āϰূāĻĒে āĻĒāϰিāĻŦāϰ্āϤিāϤ āĻšā§ে āĻŦāϞা āĻšā§।
đ Step 2: Reporting Verb āĻĻেāĻে Tense āĻĒāϰিāĻŦāϰ্āϤāύ
- Reporting Verb āϝāĻĻি Present āĻŦা Future āĻĨাāĻে: Reported Speech-āĻāϰ tense āĻĒāϰিāĻŦāϰ্āϤāύ āĻšā§ āύা।
- Reporting Verb āϝāĻĻি Past āĻšā§: Reported Speech-āĻāϰ tense āĻāĻāϧাāĻĒ Past āĻšā§।
Example:
Direct: He said, "I go to school."
Indirect: He said that he went to school.
⏳ Step 3: Tense āĻĒāϰিāĻŦāϰ্āϤāύেāϰ āϧাāĻĒ
- Present Indefinite → Past Indefinite
- Present Continuous → Past Continuous
- Present Perfect → Past Perfect
- Past Indefinite → Past Perfect
- Will/shall → Would/should
- Can → Could | May → Might
Example:
Direct: She said, "I am reading." → Indirect: She said that she was reading.
đ¤ Step 4: Pronoun āĻĒāϰিāĻŦāϰ্āϤāύ
Subject/Object āĻ āύুāϝাā§ী pronoun āĻĒāϰিāĻŦāϰ্āϤāύ āĻāϰāϤে āĻšā§।
Example:
He said to me, "I will help you." → He told me that he would help me.
đ Step 5: Time āĻ Place āĻĒāϰিāĻŦāϰ্āϤāύ
- today → that day
- tomorrow → the next day
- yesterday → the previous day
- now → then
- this → that | these → those
- here → there
đŠ Step 6: āĻŦাāĻ্āϝেāϰ āϧāϰāύ āĻ āύুāϝাā§ী āϰূāĻĒাāύ্āϤāϰ
đš A. Assertive Sentence (āĻŦāϰ্āĻŖāύাāĻŽূāϞāĻ)
Structure: said (that) + āĻŦাāĻ্āϝ
Example: He said, "I am ready." → He said that he was ready.
đš B. Interrogative Sentence (āĻĒ্āϰāĻļ্āύāĻŦোāϧāĻ)
Yes/No āĻĒ্āϰāĻļ্āύে: asked if/whether
WH āĻĒ্āϰāĻļ্āύে: asked + WH-word
Example:
She said, "Are you okay?" → She asked if I was okay.
He said, "Where do you live?" → He asked where I lived.
đš C. Imperative Sentence (āĻāĻĻেāĻļ/āύিāϰ্āĻĻেāĻļ)
Structure: told/ordered/advised/asked + to/not to + verb
Example: He said, "Close the door." → He told me to close the door.
đš D. Exclamatory Sentence (āĻāĻŦেāĻāϏূāĻāĻ)
Structure: exclaimed with joy/sorrow/wonder that...
Example: He said, "What a wonderful place!" → He exclaimed with wonder that it was a wonderful place.
đ Step 7: āĻļāϰ্āĻāĻাāϰ্āĻ āĻŽāύে āϰাāĻাāϰ āĻৌāĻļāϞ
- Assertive: "that" āĻĻিā§ে
- Yes/No: "if/whether"
- WH: WH-word āϰেāĻে āĻŦাāĻ্āϝ
- Imperative: to/not to + verb
- Negative Imperative: not to + verb
đ Step 8: āĻ āύুāĻļীāϞāύেāϰ āĻāĻĻাāĻšāϰāĻŖ
- Direct: He said, "I am busy."
Indirect: He said that he was busy. - Direct: She said, "Can you help me?"
Indirect: She asked me if I could help her. - Direct: He said, "Don't waste time."
Indirect: He told me not to waste time. - Direct: They said, "Hurrah! We won."
Indirect: They exclaimed with joy that they had won.
